Are these courses approved for continuing education?"The Golfer and Their Spine" is an approved CE course for 12 hours. In Tennessee, this course is approved for 12 hours of continuing education for the Tennessee Chiropractic Association (Tennessee locations only at this time). Each course has an individual approval number registered with the TCA. All approved courses by the TCA are automatically approved for credit by the Tennessee Chiropractic Licensing Board. Courses outside of Tennessee are approved by PACE through a partnership with Logan College of Chiropractic. Approval for states outside of the state where the course is being held may be requested. Where are the events held?All of the lecture portions of the events are held at the golf course unless otherwise noted.

Can I take multiple courses in the same calendar year and still get CE credits?In short, YES! According to the current statues governing continuing education requirements by the Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners, there is no statue that states that a course cannot be taken multiple times in a single year for credit.

Do I really get to play golf and earn CE credits at the same time?YES! This course is designed to make getting your CE hours as painless as possible. While we have fun, we will learn how to approach the weekend golfer to improve their game and spinal health.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?Yes, you will need to bring your own clubs in order to participate in the day. Rental clubs are commonly available at the course where the seminar will be held. You will need to call the course ahead of time to inquire about and reserve them.

Do I need to be good at golf to take this course?Absolutely not! We welcome golfers of ALL skill levels and even newcomers to the game. This course is an opportunity to learn more about the techincal components of the golf swing and how to improve the health of your patients as it pertains to their golf game.

Can I get partial hours if I can't attend for the whole day?You are able to earn however many hours you are able to attend. Per the TCA rules, attendance checks are required every 4 hours. The amount of hours you recieve does not alter the cost of the seminar.

What do I need to bring/wear?An information packet will be provided for you to take notes during the lecture sessions. We recommend a good pen and comfortable clothes, allowing for good movement, during the morning session. Proper golf attire is required during play. No jeans, cutoff shorts/shirts or t-shirts. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The proshop will have additional snacks and drinks for purchase throughout the day.

Can I bring a buddy or family member with me who doesn't need CE credits?Absolutely! We welcome everyone to come and join us. Anyone who loves the game of golf will have the opportunity to learn something that day. You're guest will just pay a separate fee ($125) to cover their meals, range time and round of golf. What is the cancellation and refund policy?Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. No sign-ups at the door. Cancellation Fee: Your registration may be freely transferred to another person or to a future seminar without any cancellation fee; however, the registration fee will be forfeited if not used or refunded within one year of the original program. If a refund is requested, the cancellation fee is $25 per registrant per event (allow 2-3 weeks after event for refunds). Refunds are also subject to transaction fees. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust program dates, times, speakers, or locations if the need arises. All events are rain or shine. If weather prevents completion of round of golf, vouchers will be given at the participating course's descretion. Dr. Doster will not be responsible for registrants' expenses should any program changes occur. All classes announced will be held unless 14-days prior registration indicates insufficient numbers to hold an event in which case those registered will be notified by phone or email. Canceled/Postponed or Rescheduled events will result in credit for a future seminar.
